Building leadership skills at Ma’aden
Last month some of the Ososim team were in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia, supporting the Saudi minerals company, Ma’aden, develop leadership and business acumen skills in its future leaders. The work was part of a larger programme designed and coordinated by MCE (Management Centre Europe).
Ma’aden is the largest mining & minerals enterprise in the Middle East region, exploiting the Kingdom’s rich deposits of gold, phosphates and aluminium. It is committed to fostering local talent, attracting and retaining the very best quality people. A key part of meeting this commitment is its investment in developing the skills of its people and Ma’aden’s Talent Management team works to use the latest learning techniques to achieve this.
“Part of Ma’aden’s efforts to attract and develop high-potential capabilities to sustain its ambitious growth, Ma’aden recently launched the Interactive Learning 2: a 3-week Interactive Learning session that aims to provide accelerated development to high-potential Saudi engineers. Realizing the importance of Business Acumen for future success, Ma’aden strives to build essential leadership skills at an early-career stage for their high-potential leaders. For the first time, Ma’aden has partnered with Ososim to provide a 3-day interactive and stimulating business simulation on strategy and finance. The session was challenging but highly engaging and will be memorable for all the participants.”
